Doujin Overload 2007 Venue

Hello All,
I can confirm the Hyatt Hotel has been selected as the location of the next Doujin Overload Event.

We will be using the Regatta Ballroom, Sections D and A:
Hyatt Event Floor Layouts
As with the prior event, Nuke-Bloodaxe.Org will be sponsoring Doujin Overload 2007.
This is a considerable move up in terms of venue, as the Hyatt Hotel is a 5 star establishment, with excellent rooms. The event will also, for the first time, feature a section run by the Hyatt catering staff that will be selling food and drinks at the event. Other things slated for the event include a small orchestral group playing various tracks from some famous Anime series.
I'm also hoping to have enough material, and items of interest, to have a stall of my own where you'll be able to buy a poster or two, and, if plans go right, a solid 18ct gold lapel pin of the sigil featured on the site ( top left ), in very limited quantities ( probably 10 ).
The Less Formal Note: These rooms are 'sodding huge', so we are currently trying to work out how to fill some of it, be assured there will be plenty going on. All the previous tables and other activities should be featured, along with a 'bigger, better' lineup for the music competition. Oh, and I forgot to add, we plan on making the prizes much better this year as well. Additionally, we should also have a lot more artists this time around, as some took the wait and see approach with the last event, at which point some realised they shouldn't have waited. |
