 Doujin Overload Aftermath
Studio Development Everything went very well indeed, we managed to offend some fundamentalist christians with one of the stalls apparently ( an image about the size of two business cards saying $2 per copy of a comic, with an interesting image of a characters hair on fire saying "my head is on fire" ), and we achieved 292 unique visitors during the day ( well above our desired 100 visitor mark ).

So in theory I should be able to have "as condemned by the ... church" on next years poster ( which would no-doubt bring in over a thousand attendees ).

*chuckles* Joking asside, everyone had a great time at the event, with some supprising results on what types of work were selling. We'll all take note of this, and aim to make sure that there is plenty of what people wish to buy at the next event we hope to hold next year ( at a time to be decided after this Saturdays meeting at the Graphic Novel Cafe ).

As with all events some people did better than others, and I think the better results were achieved with plenty of variety and lots of high-quality work. Work which was small and considered cute had a really good run, as well as the most expensive of objects, the full colour calendar.

More details to follow after Saturdays meeting.

If you are an artist who had your work printed through me, then please leave a request in the forum if you need re-prints of works that sold-out, or you have low stock of. This applies especially for people who want to re-stock their works before Armageddon ( the event, not the apocalypse ).
