Novelty is not 100% there in terms of sound and support for some things, thus the Alpha mark, but the guy is getting there 
Think of this as the play and pray version. Also, it is at this stage that suggestions about big changes can be made.

Much more robust than Blade ever dreamed of being, even in the alpha state of development. Even the little demo game was impressive (Loved the 'put it in' option!)
Once I get the Blade version out of my hair, I plan to get to work on a combat engine in Novelty with all the features we discussed in the thread of the same name. Hell, with Novelty one could even do blood flow.
Mind you, I wouldn't do such a thing (too Mortal Kombat) but the option is there for anyone who wanted it...
